I have added a Greasemonkey user script that allows you to set a default posting character on the forums. Get it here.

I have (finally!) updated the Magic Level Calculator. It should now have the newest runes and mana potions.

TibiaWiki needs a new logo for the Supported Fansites page on Tibia.com. If you or someone you know has some spare time and aren't graphically challenged like me, please contribute your logos to the page on TibiaWiki. Thanks!

If looking at a world's XP History list, you can now hover over any player's Experience to reveal how far into that level they are (in percentage).

The new user requirements on erig.net have changed. Before, you could only have one character per account. This was used for the voting system, which currently doesn't get used at all, so now you can sign up to erig.net under any character.

As you may have been aware, TibiaWiki runs very slowly during high-use periods (such as game updates when everybody is looking for information).

As such, I have partnered with the team at Wikia who will now be taking care of the hosting of TibiaWiki. Wikia already hosts popular wikis for other games, so I have confident they have the experience to be able to host TibiaWiki with minimal service interruption and hopefully no more "lag" during game updates!

Since TibiaWiki is moving to the Wikia platform, there are some important things to note:

• tibia.erig.net will become tibia.wikia.com. Any tibia.erig.net URL will be redirected there.
• as such, tibia.wikia.com is currently NOT an officially supported fansite, so for now you will need to continue to use the tibia.erig.net URL in-game and on the game boards - you will be redirected to tibia.wikia.com anyway, but until the new URL is recognised as supported, please do not use these new links in-game.
• if you contribute to TibiaWiki or have an account, your username and password will not change.
• I will still maintain control of TibiaWiki and it will still operate under my guidance.

Most importantly, the average user of TibiaWiki should not notice any real change except that it will be faster and pages will actually load.

Erig

The Greasemonkey userscript Tibia Guild Who's Online has been updated so it now works with the changes to the Tibia.com website.

As many people have pointed out to me, it will be unfair if the experience counted over the "double xp" event period were counted towards the XP Histories. As a result, I will let the double xp count, but will remove all histories at some point in the future. I've been meaning to do that anyway, because the histories as they stand are not entirely accurate anyway due to the Tibia.com website not updating their statistics for days at a time, and my scripts not handling that properly, sometimes counting multiple days of XP as a single day, etc.

From Tibia.com: "The Highscores page, which was not updated on several game worlds for some time, has now been fixed and gives correct results for all servers. Please excuse any inconvenience."
